Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I have completely unwound 1 and 1/3 of the way through my second one, I reckon they would have to be 20+ KG. When I get sore arms from unwinding I will pull out another and weigh it. It is nearly 2 hours drive each way to where I go them from, maybe there is someone around the Capalaba area that could help.

Just weighed the transformer by putting together what I have taken off. Right on 20 KG, just checked here http://auspost.com.au/business-solutions/ship-to-new-zealand.html there is an option for up to 30 KG if you want to check that out.Edited by Madness 2016-06-15

Thanks guys. I am looking at all options at this stage. No reply from your PM yet, Madness, but I will give them a few days. As you also know, I am looking at a local transformer factory, which would keep the freight costs right down, as it would only mean shipping within New Zealand. Once you go international, heavy things get..........heavy, man......

Sorry for the confusion - you PM'ed me the contact details, and I found an email address by following your info, and flicked one off to that. Sorry if you thought it meant no reply from YOU to the PM I sent to you or something.
