Hell that expert almost looks sexy in that photo, or perhaps its the beer.

Remove the turbines from the picture and the sexiness is gone....really gone.

THIS WOULD BE GOOD BECAUSE i COULD THEN INSTALL AS MUCH CAPACITY AS I COULD
WITH A 20 CENTS SUPPLY RATE LINKED TO PRICE INCREASES OF ELECTRICITY RATES

ON THE OTHER SIDE IS A FACILITY PRIVATELY OWNED THAT FUNCTIONS AS A COP SHOP
i COULD CONTACT THE PRIVATE BUILDING OWNER AND SEE IF HE WOULD CUT A DEAL
SO i COULD PUT UP AT LEAST 7 OF THESE TURBINES HERE

IF U ARE A PUNTER U GET A CHARGE OF 600 PLUS FOR NEW MOTHER BOARD
IF U ARE A SPARKIE THEY DO IT FOR 385
i AM BUYING THREE BUNG ONES FROM A AN INSTALLATION COMPANY'THEY WOULD HAVE THEM REPLACED UNDER THE WARRANTY SO i NEED TO RENEW WARRANTY
IF I GET THE 3 DEAD ONES WILL SEND TO THEM FOR REPAIR

6 DEAD ONES IF MY PLAN TO SELL ELECTIRCITY

COULD i TREAT THESE EXTRA STANDALONE WINDTURBINE AND DIFFERENT TO MY ORIGINAL 68 CENTS TARRIF

DIFERENT INVERTER DIFFERENT SYSTEM

Quote  does any one know how the large foreign owned wind farms connect to the grid

Yes with copper wire.
Then the red head expert from the previous photo hands out 1 million dollars for every mill they install as a rebate.

To put that into prospective for yourself, you first need to crack the mega watt level, and for your mills that would require you installing 1000 of the mills you have.

Your power contrubution is more of a problem to AGL than an advantage, as you are not reliable, this means everytime you stop producing power something else has to pick up the slack and supply the demand.
So in many ways you do little for saving resources due to the fact there is a power station still producing power thats not needed just in the case your mills stop producing power for a while.

With that in mind do you think you piddly contrubution of energy is worth AGL paying a high price for your hit and miss power production.

Your idea of on selling power is just plan stupid as what you will produce will result in 2/5 of f**k all on the average day.

You have an energy bug up your date and dollar stars in your eyes.
Best to stomp on the bug and stop staring at the moon, because what you will learn once (if) you get your mills on line, is they will produce 10 times less than what you think they will.

You need to remember some of us have been working with wind turbines for over 10 years, and do know what is fact and what is fiction, and your view fits the fiction scale.

Quote  Do ya reckon it's time we send Pat and Mick down there to help

Due to the last job Pat and Mick was on, being a builing job and Mick threw away half the nails due to the head was on the wrong end of the nails, i doubt they would be helpful in this case.

Have you heard of the blind leading the blind, well you go figure the rest.

The red head expert would be a better help, shes good with bugs in the Arrrs and dollars in the sky views.
And if your name is Kevin she will give you a shafting to boot.

Maybe your right Pat and Mick No. But how about SA Shaun. With a bucket of lecktrcty and fully primed on mango wine reckon he could do it.
Has anyone the whereabouts of SA Shaun? Believe he was over your way Bryan1 a while back.
Footnote; Would`ve put this in the above message but had already sent it. The insulation on that 1mm wire as it smoulders makes an excellant insect repellant.

G'day Vic,
I aint heard of Shaun since i sent him up your way to help out Al with that water project, now I'll put my 2.2 cents worth in and reckon Shaun has seen the dark side of the north and has found a hovel to hide in. Either that or Al has convinced him to stay bush and found another blondie for him.

Probably the best help we can give the OP if he digs a hole deep enough he may just find the chinaman who sold him all his stuff on the otherside.........

small mercy the good news
agl have installed my meter at long last before cut off date of 31 december for stc 2x multiplier
after which the solar industry will die
bad news inverter is flashing fault
maybe agl installed sat morning today and inverter had a surge
may be ok when it reboots
will drive down there tomorrow and check
installer will not answer- i do not blame him- really he had to install panels on a very windy and wet day- all his tools got wet, and it kept raining on and off
it was one of those horror jobs atop my horses shelter shed

to foreign owners

what kw size are these mills in these big commercial foreign owned wind ffarms
does one tower do 1 x megawatt and they get a million for it
I do not suppose a aussie punter can get one of these at a good price
I could put one in my horses paddcok and the million would be great

The wind farm turbines at this point in time are 3.6 megawatt each and 150 metres tall. They cost about $3million to install plus the cost of getting the power to a feedin point that can handle the power input, plus massive ongoing maintenance costs which is often contracted to the turbine supplier. Yes the government subsidy is $1million per turbine per year - but, can you afford the initial cost?

A project better left alone as the world is slowly waking up to the non viability of industrial wind farms and government subsidies around the world are being scaled back or pulled altoghether. Without the massive taxpayer funding, they are not economically viable.

the technical brochure in the oem wind turbine says 2 kw max 3 kw
there is 2 kw stamped in metal on the rotor
phil m says these things are not true
I am making very good towers just in case I have to replace the oem

Is there any way if I get the tower up
the rotor mounted and the latronics turbine control plus or minus inverter
I can measure output- I have seen kw monitors ?????
say the 1.2 latronics was too small I would have to daisy chain to gether
