And here is a small tip for anyone fitting the PCF5863 to the Altronics kit version, make sure you attach SDA to pin 21 of the I/O connector (i.e. I/O pin 12) and SCL to pin 19 of the I/O connector (i.e. I/O pin 13). NOT physical PIC pins 12 and 13 like I did. (i.e. pins 6 & 8 on the I/O connector). Do'h!
