yes i do realise that i do have some sense of reality ...the main thing i was trying to do is get an external "RTC" running and yes it does state that but if u look earlier when it clocked over the "24:00 " hour mark well this is profe that ..the "RTC" is functioning correctly its just that the "write to RTC" is not set correctly in the soft ware ...belive me when you have downloaded as many files that you cannot rember after a while which ones you have modded to fix these errors...its a bit much after a while but i see you are in aussie land r you on the west coast or east...///...///

I know what u mean re the rtc code, I have so many versions I just went back to the basic original Versions till I decide on what I really will need for my application.

here is the "duinomite" with the blown up board SM1 and have mounted the board with the "RTC" parts and run jump wires to the "DUINOMITE " which i have one of the first revision c boards ..also you will need to connect pins 24 positive five volts and pin 26 zero volts or ground as u percieve it.....enjoy

sparkey is on line and i am about to fit my series 5000 rebuild with 160000 mfd of caps and quad 16 amp devices and that they are rated at 200 volts lets hear the music that my maximite can switch at 100 Hz...///...//

added an extra 80000 mfd and 4 more fets....

well even though in all my ability`s i cannot refurbish my amp at the same time as it is running so i will have to stop the tunes whitch by the way have been running for a few hours now even though i could mount the second amplifier fets with it running it would not be a good idea... houston we are shutting down ..//..//

adding the "rtc "to the duino mite mega

:use the "U-ext"on the rear panel or use the one on the inside of the board either one will work as they are wired in paralell

:: pins 5 and 6 are the clock lines if you look at the schem u will see ,,,

:and you will need plus 5 volts which i have taken from the 26 way hedder pin 25 is gnd and pin 23 is 5 volts so there you have the connections easily accessable for the "rtc".....just for ref heres a pic...
