Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

eeeh this is my first linux script I was wondering how to make "true" condition

actually binding hardware GPIOs with the Linux shell makes quite powerful tool

you can for instance start and stop Linux processes with button push or to drive relays depend on processed output

or for instance when you receive PING to switch something ON, or when press button to send mail with some infoEdited by Olimex 2012-04-25

I have been commanding a relay board here using parralel for years

In fact I used a MacMini to

1. Work out where a satellite was
2. Turn off the battery charger
3. Swing an antenna around
4. Turn on the radio
5. Start calling the satellite with digital signals.

This SBC - does it have VGA ?

I am fluent in LINUX and UNIX

I would but one just to see what I could do with it .

I would be looking for apache MySQL PHP perl cgi ETHERNET serial

Andrew just emailed me on this.

I know the URL was posted on TBS forum a few months back. I think it was Glenn (admin), but instead of trying to search for it on my hard drive or in this forum, have a look on ebay Andrew. I know there was heaps of them there. They are around $30, have 12VDC and RCA composite video at NTSC and Pal, from what I remember.

Cheers Don...

I think I got the first but many others followed.
Do an ebay search for "CZ7 monitor"
about $24.00
