oooooo look at this so the next step is for you all to please PM me with your real name and address. Then I post what you ordered and send you a PM with the total cost including Australia Post costs. I will select an AusPost box or padded envelope as needed and this will be added to the cost. These things are not very expensive but they protect the PCBs quite well. I better get to Officeworks to get some packaging tape and stuff. I want to repeat that I will support all builds with any requested information and firmware. Let's build some good stuff! wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers |

Hi Poida, Any idea me getting a couple of boards direct from China to Pakistan. No point in going to Australia and then shipping back to Pakistan. azhaque |

I could make a new order at JLCPCB and have the delivery address to be you. What boards do you want? I will make a test order and see what the cost is. Then check with you if all OK and then we do it. wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers |

Poida. Kindly point me to the thread logging your building the 6 kW inverter mentioned above. I already know the Wiseguy's mppt design thread. A quick look at the 6kw design thread would enable me to decide whether I want those boards also or otherwise. Thanks and regards Azhaque |

Azhaque I think I found it. ‐----------- Posted: 04:14am 13 Nov 2022 Copy link to clipboard latest picoverter and powerboard Gerbers. I fixed the errors in the powerboard. Some TIP4x labeling was incorrect and the 10K pullup for the zener was just plain wrong. the picoverter has now got LCD (20x4) display and uses the 9600 baud "serial LCD" I use a lot The display shows inverter run status (on or off) heatsink and toroid temps and input volts Gerber_PCB_picoverter 6 w lcd.zip Gerber_PCB_madboard 5.zip ----------‐----------------- Are these the latest gerbers? If yes I would like ONE of each pls. Thanks |

Azhaque, those are the latest gerbers. how to get boards to you... 1 - I make an order at JLCPCB, and use your postal address, get a quote, ask you if OK get it done, you pay me or JLCPCB (upfront) 2 - you make the order at JLCPCB etc., etc... postage from Australia to Pakistan might be a lot more than postage from China. No idea how to help you with this. wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers |

I will make Bill of Materials showing component names , type and values some time soon for the mppt. The other 3 boards are nearly completely described by their silk screen. wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers |

Any ideas on a reliable source for the Allegro ACS758LCB-100U-PFF-T china seems to be the only place you can get them from The west is on back order until mid year |

I would avoid Chinese clones of these. I found the two I bought were terrible. I would use the 50 Amp unidirectional parts. 100A is a bit much for the PCB. You can do it but things will get hot on the PCB where the FETs and diodes are. digikey has the 50 Amp uni here and here is the 100 Amp unidirectional in stock here wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers |

Thanks Poida I was looking at a early version of the parts list. Anyone building a mppt i suggest you get your current sensors sooner than later as stock levels are dropping 100A units should be back in stock may/June |

G'Day Guy's, This morning I got out that grid tie inverter and found a few goodies like 8 off 315 volt 1,000uf caps and 5 off IR 123P fets. I have 4 off ACS754-150 current sensors here. So currently I have 8,470uf with the 9 caps also enough 400 volt 220uf caps but then again what is the right capacitance to aim for. Now I need the info on the rest of the parts and a link to the right arduino would be great as there are some clones and rip offs on the net best to get the right one. Cheers Bryan Edit: also found this 2.5mm wire 35 turns each over 2 pass's with a 16.mm square core so hopefully it will work. Edited 2023-03-05 16:13 by Bryan1 |

Bryan1 you have a desoldering tool? I think you have put the FETs and diodes in the wrong way. you need to get them to mount on a heatsink This is how I did mine: see how the devices are on the other side of the PCB. wronger than a phone book full of wrong phone numbers |
