Yeah and they work fine in 6KW inverters in spite of what joebog1 says. There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't. |

Madness: Do you think I can get away with four of those 1,600V 50A stud rectifier ones to give me 100A in parallel? And when ordering four, do they know I need two anode ones and two cathode ones?? And another one: I have the following big cap: AeroM (Mexico!)8000MFD 175VDC POS +85C Max surge 200VDC, unused, would that one be useful after the rectifiers? I was not suggesting those diodes would work (although they may( I was just pointing you in the direction of much cheaper parts). Checkout this Full wave 200A 1600V bridge rectifier, just bolt it to a heatsink and connect AC in and DC out. You could put 2 in parallel and run up to 400A. Thanks Madness for that, even better and cheaper! Will order that one. Any idea if I can use this big blue 8,000 MFD 200VDC surge cap without the essential smoke escaping??
