Bob, I am wondering if this is the correct forum for your needs ? A model aero charger from my understanding operates nothing like your description. The "push" comes from whatever charging current you set the charger for, the voltage setting ie 4.1V is the voltage where it stops "pushing" those dialled in amps and says "Charged". It does not push less because you set a lower voltage unless the cells just wont (cant) absorb the current you dialled in I think Marks suggestion was spot on or perhaps none of us are getting it and you need to describe the issue better. Are you saying that you want/need the operation of an aero charger but a precision cut off voltage to 2 or 3 decimal places ? Most of us here are chasing capacities starting from like 10kWH to run our house the small annoyance of a phones battery life interests us a lot less. You guys work as a pretty stupid team it seems . Suprisingly your moderator allows you to get away with such rudeness. It permeates the forum I can see . How about you piss off yourself and let somebody with a normal clear head answer. I have no interest in any contribution your simple mind might wish to post again and I would appreciate you ignoring all and any future questions I might ask. Now If I judge correctly either the thread will get closed or I will get banned . What good will that do? Is it a forum for questions and answers or just an opportunity for a mob to knock the outsiders and pick the posts to pieces . Ask irrelevant and invasive questions of the posters and generally avoid answering in any normal fashion ? |

This is also an exact example of that little boys club attitude. Its what prompts the poster to post such rubbish that I question? Clearly he has not read all the thread ,just a small segment EMF is the push and has nothing to do with current .Its voltage and always has been. 2 or 3 decimal places? t seems to be just one to my reading. The charger mentioned above does not do what I ask . It will not operate on just one cell. Possibly if I use it on a series pack it might not overcharge one cell but that would need to be checked out . I still seek a simple "add into the charge line " that cuts off charge at 4.1v. I can't believe you act so smart and yet are so dumb. Constant current is the push by its very nature it raises the emf until the dialled in current flows then the dialled in current limit is what controls it until the desired end point emf is reached. What is so bloody hard to understand about that. I think you will have very little sympathy from anyone here when you come uninvited to a forum and then try to throw your weight & insults around trying to get us all involved in a trivial battery passion you have that very few give a rats about. If at first you dont succeed, I suggest you avoid sky diving.... Cheers Mike |

I notice how you speak for ALL . You have little battery experience whatever it seems. I ask the question . If you dont give a rats about ,why are you here now antagonising . let it be seen for what it is , backing up mates to kiss arse. Edited 2020-05-10 16:36 by bob.steel |

Can you read : Your table you posted a few places back shows voltages to 3 decimal places - I think that is more than 1 ? I will not answer any more of your drivel. Edited 2020-05-10 16:38 by wiseguy If at first you dont succeed, I suggest you avoid sky diving.... Cheers Mike |

Bob, you are starting to piss off a lot of people around here including me. We are normally a very happy well behaved and very friendly Forum, and we all get along together just fine. Its precisely because of that, when you abuse one of us the others here get really really angry and upset. Unfortunately you seem to have become the odd man out around here, and all this rudeness (on both sides) has only arisen IN THIS THREAD, and it has only started since you came here. Cheers, Tony. |

I have never seen attitude like this on this forum. I'm not going to be harsh, as I actually believe you are quite troubled. Bob I really think you have some quite serious mental health issues. Members here have tried to help you but you have responded in an irrational way. Please go and get some help. AND, don't be rude to my friends, being malicious won't inspire people to help you. I don't normally quote religious things, but this is a good one. "Do unto others as you wish they would do unto you".(dunno who said that) Cheers Caveman Mark Off grid eastern Melb |

So for any serious followers. Seems a zener might do the hard work well. One suited to the turn off voltage required Circuit like this with relay or mosfet |
