Are there many Maximite users/fans in Perth? (Western Australia - not USA or Scotland!) I was thinking that it would be fun to organise a meeting of Maximite users/fans for a low key coffee/chat and swap ideas, projects and experiences. I guess that an evening in the middle of the week at somewhere central like Leederville or South Perth would be best. Would anyone be interested? What day/time would be best? You could post here or email me directly at projects@geoffg.net Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

or Tasmania I'd be interested. I'm North of the river so preference would be for Leederville but I'm not to fussed where. |

I'm in Dianella (North of River in Perth) don't have a passport to cross the river so Leederville or even Mt Lawley sounds good to me. Cheers all RayB from Perth WA |

I'll be there in spirit. I'm 10,000 miles away. If I have my metric conversion right, that is 6 liters. Or something. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

By my count we have six people interested in getting together in Perth split evenly between north and south of the river. So, my suggestion is that we get together next Tuesday 12th Feb at the Dome Coffee Shop, 293 Albany Highway, Victoria Park (map link). Wednesday is an alternative if this date does not work for someone. BTW. Don't confuse this coffee shop with the Dome in East Vic Park, this one is near the causeway. 7:00PM would be a good time as they close at 9PM but I will be there by 6:30. Anyone can turn up (even if you don't have a Maximite) and the idea is just to have a casual chat over coffee about life, the universe and the PIC32. To be on the safe side email me with your mobile number at projects@geoffg.net and I will return with my mobile number. That way we can connect up if anyone gets lost. Darn, I'll be visiting Perth the week of the 27th! For crying out loud, all I wanted to do was flash this blasted LED. |

No matter, we can organise a second meet - even if it turns out to be just the two of us. Wedn, Thu & Friday are all OK with me. Rather than clog up this forum it would be best for you to email me and we can fix a date/time. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |
