The Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded on March 20, killing 11 and injuring 17 of a 126-member crew. It exploded again and sank 36 hours later. The resulting leak has created a Jamaica-sized oil slick that is now whirling in a hurricane shape into sensitive marshes of the Louisiana coastline, endangering birds, fish, oysters, and many peoples’ livelihoods.

The Obama administration, which only a month ago proposed opening up new coastal areas for oil exploration, has put on hold all new exploratory drilling along the US continental shelf and is now fighting to stay ahead of what sociologist Steven Picou at the University of South Alabama calls a "monster catastrophe that boggles the mind."

A government report obtained by the Mobile, Ala., Press-Register explains that "choke points" in the crumpled riser are controlling the flow from the so-called Macondo well at Lease Block 252 in the Mississippi Canyon. But scrubbing action from sand in the oil is further eroding the pipe. There are likely tens of millions of gallons in the deposit that BP tapped with the Deepwater Horizon.

"The following is not public," reads National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Emergency Response document dated April 28, according to the Press-Register. "Two additional release points were found today. If the riser pipe deteriorates further, the flow could become unchecked resulting in a release volume an order of magnitude higher than previously thought."

An order of magnitude is a factor of 10.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that John Amos, an oil industry consultant, said that NOAA revised its original estimate of 1,000 barrels after he published calculations based on satellite data that showed a larger flow.

The 5,000 barrels a day is the "extremely low end" of estimates, Mr. Amos told the Journal.

Calculating the exact flow of crude out of the bent Deepwater Horizon oil rig "riser" pipe on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico is difficult. But it's now likely that the actual amount of the oil spill dwarfs the Coast Guard's figure of 5,000 barrels, or 210,000 gallons, a day.

Independent scientists estimate that the renegade wellhead at the bottom of the Gulf could be spewing up to 25,000 barrels a day. If chokeholds on the riser pipe break down further, up to 50,000 barrels a day could be released, according to a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration memo obtained by the Mobile, Ala., Press-Register.

As estimates of the spill increase, questions about the government's honesty in assessing the spill are emerging. At the same time, pressure is building for the US to release worst-case scenario estimates so residents of the Gulf Coast can adequately prepare.

Meanwhile, BP is working furiously to do the unprecedented: Activate a faulty blowout preventer a mile under the Gulf to stop the leak at its source. If that fails, it could take three months, or more, to drill a relief well in order to plug the renegade well.

C'mon, How Big Is The Gulf Of Mexico Oil Spill, Really?

Official Estimates For The Flow Of Oil Out Of The Deepwater Horizon

Well May Be Just A Drop In The Bucket.

Critics Call For Release Of Worst-Case Scenario Data
To Describe The Oil Spill Disaster.

by Patrik Jonsson

12 days into the oil rig 'accident' events continue to evolve and weather is slowing down efforts to contain things, we have two interesting items to report that are not in the MSM yet...OK, three then.

1. While there are many reports on the 'net that the rig disaster was an attack by a North Korean mini-sub, and other such fanciful things, we have heard that a supply ship arrived just before the explosions and it was reported to be 'manned by all new people, nobody aboard was from the 'usual supply crew'. This purported industry source continues: there were a total of 14 explosions and these could have been cutting charges. Moreover, the shut off valve below the surface (5000 feet down) on the seabed is not longer controllable. Still, lots of disinfo and speculation scampering around the netosphere. While this is bad, it gets worse.

2. A reader who is an engineer of considerable experience says watch this one evolve carefully because it is destined to continue to grow and he shares this long (but worthy explanation why:

"Heard your mention of the oil disaster in the Gulf of Mexico this morning, and you (and most everyone else except maybe George Noory) are totally missing the boat on how big and bad of a disaster this is.

First fact, the original estimate was about 5,000 gallons of oil a day spilling into the ocean. Now they're saying 200,000 gallons a day. That's over a million gallons of crude oil a week!

I'm an engineer with 25 years of experience. I've worked on some big projects with big machines. Maybe that's why this mess is so clear to me.

First, the BP platform was drilling for what they call deep oil. They go out where the ocean is about 5,000 feet deep and drill another 30,000 feet into the crust of the earth. This it right on the edge of what human technology can do. Well, this time they hit a pocket of oil at such high pressure that it burst all of their safety valves all the way up to the drilling rig and then caused the rig to explode and sink. Take a moment to grasp the import of that. The pressure behind this oil is so high that it destroyed the maximum effort of human science to contain it.

When the rig sank it flipped over and landed on top of the drill hole some 5,000 feet under the ocean.

Now they've got a hole in the ocean floor, 5,000 feet down with a wrecked oil drilling rig sitting on top of is spewing 200,000 barrels of oil a day into the ocean. Take a moment and consider that, will you!

First they have to get the oil rig off the hole to get at it in order to try to cap it. Do you know the level of effort it will take to move that wrecked oil rig, sitting under 5,000 feet of water? That operation alone would take years and hundreds of millions to accomplish. Then, how do you cap that hole in the muddy ocean floor? There just is no way. No way.

The only piece of human technology that might address this is a nuclear bomb. I'm not kidding. If they put a nuke down there in the right spot it might seal up the hole. Nothing short of that will work.

If we can't cap that hole that oil is going to destroy the oceans of the world. It only takes one quart of motor oil to make 250,000 gallons of ocean water toxic to wildlife. Are you starting to get the magnitude of this?

We're so used to our politicians creating false crises to forward their criminal agendas that we aren't recognizing that we're staring straight into possibly the greatest disaster mankind will ever see. Imagine what happens if that oil keeps flowing until it destroys all life in the oceans of this planet. Who knows how big of a reservoir of oil is down there.

Not to mention that the oceans are critical to maintaining the proper oxygen level in the atmosphere for human life.

We're humped. Unless God steps in and fixes this. No human can. You can be sure of that. Great Writers ...

US Orders Blackout Over North Korean Torpedoing Of Gulf Of Mexico Oil Rig

Posted by Europe on May 01, 2010

A grim report circulating in the Kremlin today written by Russia’s Northern Fleet is reporting that the United States has ordered a complete media blackout over North Korea’s torpedoing of the giant Deepwater Horizon oil platform owned by the World’s largest offshore drilling contractor Transocean that was built and financed by South Korea’s Hyundai Heavy Industries Co. Ltd., that has caused great loss of life, untold billions in economic damage to the South Korean economy, and an environmental catastrophe to the United States.

Most important to understand about this latest attack by North Korea against its South Korean enemy is that under the existing "laws of war" it was a permissible action as they remain in a state of war against each other due to South Korea’s refusal to sign the 1953 Armistice ending the Korean War.

To the attack itself, these reports continue, the North Korean "cargo vessel" Dai Hong Dan believed to be staffed by 17th Sniper Corps "suicide" troops left Cuba’s Empresa Terminales Mambisas de La Habana (Port of Havana) on April 18th whereupon it "severely deviated" from its intended course for Venezuela’s Puerto Cabello bringing it to within 209 kilometers (130 miles) of the Deepwater Horizon oil platform which was located 80 kilometers (50 miles) off the coast of the US State of Louisiana where it launched an SSC Sang-o Class Mini Submarine (Yugo class) estimated to have an operational range of 321 kilometers (200 miles).

On the night of April 20th the North Korean Mini Submarine manned by these "suicidal" 17th Sniper Corps soldiers attacked the Deepwater Horizon with what are believed to be 2 incendiary torpedoes causing a massive explosion and resulting in 11 workers on this giant oil rig being killed outright. Barely 48 hours later, on April 22nd , this North Korean Mini Submarine committed its final atrocity by exploding itself directly beneath the Deepwater Horizon causing this $1 Billion oil rig to sink beneath the seas and marking 2010’s celebration of Earth Day with one of the largest environmental catastrophes our World has ever seen.

To the reason for North Korea attacking the Deepwater Horizon, these reports say, was to present US President Obama with an "impossible dilemma" prior to the opening of the United Nations Review Conference of the Parties to the Treat on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) set to begin May 3rd in New York.

This "impossible dilemma" facing Obama is indeed real as the decision he is faced with is either to allow the continuation of this massive oil leak catastrophe to continue for months, or immediately stop it by the only known and proven means possible, the detonation of a thermonuclear device.

Russian Navy atomic experts in these reports state that should Obama choose the "nuclear option" the most viable weapon at his disposal is the United States B83 (Mk-83) strategic thermonuclear bomb having a variable yield (Low Kiloton Range to 1,200 Kilotons) which with its 12 foot length and 18 inch diameter, and weighing just over 2,400 pounds, is readily able to be deployed and detonated by a remote controlled mini-sub.

Should Obama choose the "nuclear option" it appears that he would be supported by the International Court of Justice who on July 8, 1996 issued an advisory opinion on the use of nuclear weapons stating that they could not conclude definitively on these weapons use in "extreme circumstances" or "self defense".

On the other hand, if Obama chooses the "nuclear option" it would leave the UN’s nuclear conference in shambles with every Nation in the World having oil rigs off their coasts demanding an equal right to atomic weapons to protect their environment from catastrophes too, including Iran.

To whatever decision Obama makes it remains a fact that with each passing hour this environmental catastrophe grows worse. And even though Obama has ordered military SWAT teams to protect other oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico from any further attack, and further ordered that all drilling in the Gulf of Mexico be immediately stopped, this massive oil spill has already reached the shores of America and with high waves and more bad weather forecast the likelihood of it being stopped from destroying thousands of miles of US coastland and wildlife appears unstoppable.

And not just to the environmental catastrophe that is unfolding the only devastation to be wrecked upon the United States and South Korea by this North Korean attack as the economic liabilities associated with this disaster are estimated by these Russian reports to be between $500 Billion to $1.5 Trillion, and which only a declaration of this disaster being an "act of war" would free some the World’s largest corporations from bankruptcy.

Important to note too in all of these events was that this was the second attack by North Korea on its South Korean enemy, and US ally, in a month as we had reported on in our March 28th report titled "Obama Orders ‘Immediate Stand-down’ After Deadly North Korean Attack" and which to date neither the Americans or South Korea have retaliated for and giving one senior North Korean party leader the courage to openly state that the North Korean military took "gratifying revenge" on South Korea.

And for those believing that things couldn’t get worse, they couldn’t be more mistaken as new reports coming from Japanese military sources are stating that North Korea is preparing for new launches of its 1,300 kilometer (807 miles) intermediate range ballistic "Rodong" missile which Russian Space Forces experts state is able to "deploy and detonate" an atomic electromagnetic pulse (EMP) device, and which if detonated high in the atmosphere could effectively destroy the American economy for years, if not decades, to come.

COMMENTARY

The situation in the Gulf is absolutely a disaster of monumental
proportion. It could well turn into a world-wide,
life-on-earth-threatening situation. That is a plain fact.

At this point, i do not know that anyone really knows what caused it--
Koreans, or what. I simply don't know, and don't know that anyone
does. But until they can seal that well, there is an effectively
endless supply of oil to pump out, which will destroy all the
fisheries in the Gulf, and perhaps even world wide-- unless they
figure out a way to stop it. Along with that, it could seriously
threaten ocean life worldwide, with enormous consequences to ALL
mankind.

I don't know that a 'relief well' would do any good. And I don't think
that anyone has any knowledge at all about what a nuke placed at the
ocean bottom at the leak would do. I think that would be rank
speculation.

They may have finally managed to create a life-on-earth-threatening
situation, by the hands of man.
Mike Kemp
------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------

THIS IS NOT AN OIL SPILL. THIS IS AN OIL VOLCANO

There is an huge bubbling torrent of superheated oil erupting from the
gaping hole remaining after sabotage destroyed the pumping rig, 1 mile
of pipe line to the bottom of the canyon, and the check valves able to
control the flow. The exploratory bore hole, approx 24" in diameter pierced the rock
5,000 feet below the surface, to reach a vast and immeasurable dome of
oil under great pressure beneath the floor of the Gulf.

The hole, now enlarged by the past ten days of scouring, is calulated
to become much larger, as long as the great pressure on the dome, by
the weight of the water in the gulf continues. Essentially, the pressure will
not subside until the hole in the oil dome is patched. Such a patch job
has never been attempted. Nor can anything be built large enough or
fast enough to deliver and install it in time enough to even hope to slow the flow.

It is thought also that near simultaneous explosions both at the well head,
the great check valves, and the pumping station on the rig, were calculated
to blow a crater at the well head. That crater itself is growing larger as
the oil flow continues to increase along with the diameter of the drill hole.

Geologic dynamics include what is called the "Rebound Theory" which
means that the earth will rebound after it has been bent and broken, such as
in the case of an earthquake. After the slip or upheaval, the earth will
return to it's former topography. If this were the case in the Gulf, the
oil will empty from the dome until the weight of the water equalizes the pressure.
When this happens, the earth dome will begin to rise once again, causing a
vacuum in the now empty dome. This vacuum will draw water down into
the dome where it will be superheated. A huge explosion MAY occur, larger
than any thing we've ever seen before, possibly setting off a string of earthquakes,
including a collosal one along the New Madrid fault running from Chicago to
New Orleans. Think of what happens when a tennis ball with a small hole bored
in it is pushed below the water. Now squeeze the ball. Air will bubble up as
long as the pressure remains on the ball to force the air through the hole. Now enlarge
the hole and increase the pressure. Soon the inside pressure and the outside
water equalize, but you still have to deal with the rubber chararacteristic of the
ball. The ball will attempt to rebound to it's former shape, when that happens,
a vacuum begins to pull water into the ball through the hole. The larger the
hole the faster this happens. But what if the center of our "tennis ball" is
10 times the boiling point of water 10,000 feet below sea level. What would
happen?

The timing of the sabotage was critical. BP estimates say that the hole
cannot be patched for up to 3 months. If unchecked, the dome could release
nearly 100 million barrels of oil into the gulf. The economy of all Gulf states
would be wiped out. The destruction of the rig coincided with the onset
of hurricane season. By the end of July as the near peak of the hurricane
season approaches, there will be a crust of oil many thousands of square miles
in size, nearly 3 inches thick float along the coast when the first of the great
hurricanes hit.

There is no way to stop the bore hole's enlarging every day.

Later this year, unusual plant life will begin to grow along the coasts where
oil has been washed and blown ashore. Dryland oil drillers do not freely
talk about the plant seeds and other material that gushes from oil wells since
any exotic or rare plant life would result in shutting down the operation by
federal endangered species agency order. Once spore reach the warm
climate of a Gulf Coast summer, they will sprout and bloom.

The question will forever remain, who sabatoged the BP operation?
Someone picked the best possible location at the best possible season
and with the best possible destruction anyone could possibly imagine.

High ranking officials at BP face one of two possible scenarios. Either
they announce that the destruction was sabotage and escape some of the
financial devastation due to lawsuits, or they remain silent and end up
totally broke. I suspect that we will begin hearing about terrorist sabotage
within just a couple weeks.

Hundreds of platforms. Dozens of companies, Hundreds of subcontractors.
Skilled laborers and technician teams coming and going. People from all
different middle eastern counties working on rigs. These repair and operation
team members are not given extensive security checks. They work for
the lowest bidding contractor. Background investigations cost money and
to win the bid, expenses are shaved.

Only a very brilliant mind could have chosen a act of sabotage so devastating.

Isaiah;

This oil spill is bad enough taken at face value. But I don't think its going to destroy the world. I agree that even a few Well blow outs are to many. Australia had a blowout last year in the Timor Sea, Same company did the Cementing and appears to be the same problem. EDIT; This Well is also in dssp water over 5000 ft.
This Link is a follow up article of the investigation into the cause of the blowout.
Just a few months ago Mexico had a large oil spill in the Gulf The US has had several over the years but the oil volume from those were a 10th. of whats leaking out of this one.

The Terrorist bombing in Oklahoma city that targeted the Alcohol Firearm and Tobacco Offices of the US Federal Government 1990.
Below is what Norm Olson came up with. A little odd that Japan would move inland 1500 miles from the west coast or 800 miles from the east coast to get even.?

"Not surprisingly, leaders of the Michigan Militia have disagreed with federal officials about the identity of the bomber, and have offered a theory of their own. A week after the blast. Michigan Militia commander Norman Olson, along with his chief of staff, Ray Southwell, announced that they believed the Japanese had bombed the Oklahoma building. The motive: retaliation for the recent nerve gas attack on the Tokyo subways, which Olson and Southwell said was engineered by the American government. Edited by Greenbelt 2010-05-06

You know what? The scary part is all this is taking place something like a MILE under water. That's a really long soda straw in anybody's book.

I'm amazed at the technology! My hat's off to whomever even gets near something like this, let alone actually repair it!!!

Would a simple Emergency shut off valve at the top of the BOP been able to prevent this? The old mechanical operated kind. I mean theirs a flange right their you would have thought that they would have put a valve between the riser and BOP. For a situation where the BOP fails and the riser is broken.

A sub sea BOP would normally consist of several sets of rams, a blind ram that will seal off an open hole, a pipe ram that will close and seal around the pipe, a shear ram that will crush and cut the drill pipe off, and a hydril or anular preventer that is like a large rectum and will close off around any size pipe or open hole.

It is strange that all 3 of the systems that are able to stem the flow have failed.

A normal operation is to close the bops and bleed the flow through a controlled choke out to a flare line and burn the oil on exit.

The comment above about a releif well not being any advantage misses the point that it is almost imposiable to top kill a well and you need to get to the bottom to kill a well.

A top kill require the BOP to be closed around the pipe and the oil or formation fluid to be bullheaded backwards into the formation by a heavy weighted fluid under high pump pressure and at a good flow rate, so the heavy fluid works like a piston and not so slow that the heavy fluid falls through the formation fluid.

Problem 1 is they can not close the bop around the pipe, and problem 2 is the high surface pressure required, would more than likely rupture the sub sea pipe work causing a even bigger problem.

So the only real option is to drill a releif well and attack the well kill from the bottom.

If they can get a new riser in place then they could attempt to run a drill string to bottom and then proceed with a bottom kill.
This would require some very high pump rates to be greater than the formation flow rate, to ensure a heavy fluid plug can be placed within the well of a suitable column length, to give a hydrastatic pressure of equal or greater pressure than the formation pressure.

To the personell involved with the current operations we should all consider them as heros for risking their life for a bigger cause.
I hope the personell are all on very good danger money that they can retire after this operation.
Most will be well trained but are just normal people like you and me doing a job in a very dangerous situation.

Like the crap in the Timor sea both holes should never have been drilled without a relief well. Its law in Canada and the EU. Only Australia and the USA are a dogs breakfast when it comes to government regulations being on top of worlds best practice.

Hi All

It seems to me from the photo by green that it could have been controlled at that stage by lowering a specially designed caisson over the pipe and pumping out the seabed sludge with a venturie to settle the device around the caisson then pumping the lower part of it with reinforced ferro cement and using a heater to keep it warm for several weeks until it cured then place a pump line on the top to recover the oil gas mixture without subjecting the device to high pressures directly.

Pete your comment as an expert in the field.

Its a bit like trying to dangle your fishing line in a mile of deep water to hit a 1 cent piece on the bottom.

Nice thoughts but not that easy.

As for cement heaters we use accelerators to flash the cement in a given time allowing for surounding conditions (ie water temp, and pressure)plus pumping time.

Problem "B" comes with dealing with the oil and gas at surface, if you cannot place any back pressure on the flow conductor, then you have a VERY dangerous situation to deal with seperation, and would be life threatning in every way.
You would need to burn the gas off but how do you do this without flashing the oil.
Its a bit like a bucket of gas cut petrol with gas sitting on top and with in it, how do you seperate the two while floating in a bathtub in the middle of no where.
I for one would not want to be in the bathtub while you attempted it.

There is a fine line here between preserving the enviroment and saving human lives.
We choose to save the human and stuff all else in the process.

Hi Pete

What would be the pressure of the mixture coming out of the well? by the look of the flow pattern in the photo it doesn't seem to be very high relatively that is.

I believe they did lower some sort of casing over the well at one stage so that's difficult but not impossible, once the concrete cured it should be able to stand the pressure differential at that depth, as there is a lot of gear on the pipe to get a grip on in the photo anyway.

I know what you are saying about risk to human life but also must consider the people who live and make a living in the gulf not to mention the environmental concerns although the environment will clean itself up over a long period of time if the spill is stopped.

As it looks at the moment there needs to be some more drastic actions taken.

All the best

Thank You Pete for your input.
What would be your comment on the damage to wildlife and crops from this residue ?
I did read here within the last week that the pressure is 20,000 to 70,000 psi
and that the pipe had a 2 inch wall thickness and now has eroded down to 1 inch or less.
I have herd that they are considering evacuating for 200 miles inland. Is this with in reason or a ploy for the government to seize land?
If this takes out our southern produce crops then it is a threat to human life. There is a food shortage now but most dont realize it.The crop weather here in the Midwest has not been good for several yrs.
Eggs dont come from Walmart and Hamberger dosent come from McDonald's.
The people in this country are dumbed down and the government at all levels is out of control!!!!!
I know you guys down under are just as or worse off with the government wanting to control every thing.

I be doubtful that the casing would be 2" thick and would guess they might be referring to the flange on the sub sea riser.

As for the pressure it all depends where you are talking about, as the formation pressure will be much different than surface pressure and sub sea different again.
You must factor in the hydrostatic pressure that a column of fluid creates.

In many cases a well will not always flow to surface due to the hydrostatic pressure and is why you see nodding donkey beam pumps on some oil fields. ( as we all can see its not the case here)

Also the shutin pressure will be much higher than the flow pressure.

I see oil well data often like windmill data and people like to quote the peak maximums without really knowing what it all means in the bigger picture.

I would say take half of what you read as Bull and the other half as sh*t and filter the information out.
All the personnel working on this project in areas of knowing whats what, will be under Non disclosure agreements before they set foot offshore. ( this was a common practice for many locations i worked on and was written into my contract with the company i worked for so it could not be over looked)

This leaves the lesser skilled in the operation and they will not have any real idea of the facts, as it will be a need to know only operation.
I have seen newspaper articles on operations i have worked on that was so far off course it was not funny and when it was found where the leak came from it was a cook who went on hear say and had never set foot on the rig floor in his life.
You will find there is a no fly zone imposed over the operation to keep the media out and only the information that they want to release given public.

As for the effect on the local land areas i am in no position to comment on this, except to say the biggest danger is some darn fool setting fire to the oil slick, as this would blanket the area in mass amounts of choking black smoke and huge temperatures that would devastate anything in the area.

I dont see things like crops dying and 2 headed cows being born from a result of the disaster and have been caked in the stuff from head to toe myself many times. (cant say i was ever too happy about it, and know how a greasy pig must feel like)

Its a bad situation and so many are lounge room experts on the disaster that i am reluctant to become another with misleading information even though i know a lot more then the average bear, of what is involved in oilwell engineering and operations like this one.

Every well is different and its hard to know what challenges are being faced by the crews involved. (we may never really know exactly)

Pete.

Update: June 15 a fire aboard Enterprise thought to be caused by a lightning strike occurred. Operations had to be shut down for a couple hours. Today a second containment system has been implemented to collect more of the oil.

Warning!!!! Extreme Alert-move Your Families Now!

Contributed by BARRACUDA (Reporter)

Inside sources have informed me that Full scale Gulf Coast evacuations are expected to begin in next couple of weeks--With Methane now surfacing and Bubbling in Florida waters the potential for a Methane Explosion of unimaginable devastation now comes into focus Further Law Enforcement Sources are being Advised of "ESCALATING VENT DETERIORATION" Two Definitions were provided to me--First "VENT" DEFINITION-"The opening in a volcano from which gas and molten rock erupt" and "ESCALATES"- DEFINITION GIVEN-"To expand step by step as from a limited or local conflict into a General NUCLEAR WAR"--to become unmanageable--You don't need a rocket science degree to read between the lines. Ten Years ago after the Papua New Guinea Earthquake in which "Burnt to a Crisp" bodies were pulled from the Fiery Seas-Stan Deyo and I did multiple Radio programs together over the years, warning of the Methane Hydrate Problems off our Coasts that could turn into "Seas Of Fire". Now maybe you can understand our warnings in perspective!. With massive numbers of Military assets being moved south it is being stated, that Martial Law initially will be on a regional Basis,. You will have no choice-- as you will be moved against your will, to places you really don't want to be moved to. Have you wondered what will become of everyones "stuff" thats left behind in abandoned homes and offices--THEY HAVE!--"To the Victors (THE NWO CROWD) go the spoils"! I encourage everyone to prayerfully consider all the above information and use your GOD GIVEN FREE WILL TO MOVE. There will be a complete shutdown of all commerce and Industry in the Areas affected by the Forced Evacuations. Don't assume your credit cards will work at this time, as a "Cyberattack" is to be Launched against the "US FINANCIAL" System concurrent with the mass evacuations that will deny access to funds--Have Cash on Hand to get you where you need to go. LIFE AS WE HAVE KNOWN IS ABOUT TO TAKE AN APOCALYPTIC CHANGE--FOR THE WORST.Additional Info from Wayne Madsen Reports Emergency preparations in dealing with the expanding oil menace are now being made for cities and towns from Corpus Christi, Texas, to Houston, New Orleans, Gulfport, Mobile, Pensacola, Tampa-St.Petersburg-Clearwater, Sarasota-Bradenton, Naples, and Key West. Some 36 FEMA-funded contracts between cities, towns, and counties and emergency workers are due to be invoked within days, if not hours, according to WMR's FEMA sources.Criteria for Decision to Move if Possible from affected Gulf Coast Areas:1) Presence of Military increasing Daily. 2) Massive Reports of Respiratory and other Illnesses--Hospitals filling up rapidly. 3) Hurricanes with sustained winds moving into gulf. 4) Credit Cards being Cancelled regionally. 5) Regional and or National Internet Outages. 6) Highway Barriers going up on Freeway Entry and Exit Ramps overnight. 7) Military Transport Planes Landing in Numbers at Regional and smaller Gulf Coast Airports. 8) Watching the Body Language and actions of the Local Law Enforcement Officers. 9) Bubbling ocean waters increasing as the Methane Hydrate goes from solid state to gaseous state. 10) Massive increase in Lightning Storms and unusual Animal Behavior. 11) Suspension of all Leaves and Vacations of Emergency Personnel. 12) Expanding no Boating and Fishing Zone. 13) Shortages of Fuel and Food and availability of critical supplies increasingly being reported.

Methane hydrates are not going anywhere for long time.

Undersea volcano? Which one? There are 400 at least with 4 active off the coast of Japan alone and lets not forget the Atlantic, Indian, Pacific and Antarctic spreads, new rock every single day..

East coast suffocating in methane gas?

seriously who writes this stuff?

So if I go to Jesus I will be saved? What about the calculators? What will happen to them? My poor Texas instruments grapher! Oh no!

Hi All

Sounds like a script for a new movie with enough truth thrown in to cloud the facts.

All the best

I don't think it has anything to do with Methane crystals more or less the oil has a high methane content which is a major greenhouse gas.

P.S. I love how they tell how much they've contained but wont tell you how much is still leaking.... Not even an estimate.

Here's the live feed of it still leaking. http://www.bp.com/liveassets/bp_internet/globalbp/globalbp_u k_english/incident_response/STAGING/local_assets/html/Enterp rise_ROV_2.html

Also I was reading that H2S and methane levels were rising above normal for coastal areas. Not anywhere high enough to be dangerous yet though. I imagine this thing is gonna be leaking till august if were lucky the relief wells will work and not just act like another tap.
