Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

for anyone who has had problems trying to tranfer their laserjet print from the thermal paper onto copper board ready for etching, throw away your irons and check out my youtube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PV99qNjvJ8&feature=youtu.be .I eventually came up with the idea after many a frustrating touch up and dodgy traces.I find the best etching method now is with copper chloride,as the video shows it works perfectly!

Works a treat, don't worry about overheating as the cheapy heat guns don't get hot enough, better too much than not enough. The quality of paper helps too.One type of paper I have transfers the entire image leaving no trace on the paper whereas another one I have still leaves a faint image Edited by flowerpetal 2014-08-29
