Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I found this today while calculating a potential-divider: Electronics Assistant Does all sorts of common Ohm's law calculations and capacitors etc. Quite useful. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

good find. I use two app-based calculators on my android phone: Unit Converter - a, erm, unit converter ... for engineers https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.wopnersoft.unitconverter and ElectroDroid for electronics-based calculators. Doesn't do everything but covers all the usual and seems to get reguklar updates for the pin-out and resource libraries https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.android.demi.elettronica there are stacks of this sort of thing out there but these two I have settled on as filling most needs |

I have Electrodroid installed, but I usually just use the HP-15C app from https://hp15c.com/ Not a "electronics" app per se, but it got me through my electronics classes in college. :) |

Google "Daycounter.com". There you will find an endless list of calculators for a great many things. Edited 2019-12-19 09:08 by Warpspeed Cheers, Tony. |

For anyone who evolved along the rpn hp25 hp41c hp42s path you probably already use the Free42 app, but if not it is absolutely worth tracking down as a GTO general purpose calculator with electronics abilities. https://thomasokken.com/free42/ |
