Has anyone heard if there's any solid state batteries available I read a while back that a company in China was going to start producing them in small quantities I can't remember where I read it and find it again I also read somewhere where a guy made his own saltwater batteries out of large sections 4 inch PVC pipe and bury them in the ground and it was supposed to be working pretty good for him he was supposed to come back and post the recipe to the batteries and I can't remember where I read about that either I would love to hear about any good solution to batteries if anybody would like to comment on anything about batteries I would greatly appreciate itEdited by BenandAmber 2019-02-20

saltwater is the new fad.

MIT is making molten metal batteries.

These are a few years away from production.

For the latest bleeding edge check out Lithium Titanate Oxide batteries ;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAUYbSDEy6I

They used to be cheap but now due to increased demand and hype become $45/cell.

I request you not to spend a lot of money behind batteries for now.

Have you read these:

I want to get started with this project: https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=11108

This will allow you to power your home without needing to use expensive batteries

Do you want to work with me on that?
