Hi,

Has anyone converted a PIR 20W LED flood light from 240 volt ac operation to 12 volt DC operation.
The reason why I ask this is I want to use these instead of 10W version with my 12 volt solar set up.
The type of unit I am looking at is like this: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/PIR-20W-LED-Flood-light-Motion-Sensor-Warm-White-Security-Floodlight-240V-IP65-/111953602615? hash=item1a10f46837:g:ruIAAOSwQjNW~Ogg

i had a look at an article on Converting a cheap sensor light to 12 volts from this site. See http://www.thebackshed.com/windmill/articles/12vSensorLight.asp

Cheers Brett
