Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I had a video done since last winter but just had the time to upload recently and maybe you want to see the video.

I will not be using the wind turbine any more since solar is more than sufficient and I will install a larger solar array about 12x larger than the 720W one I have now so that I can fully heat my house with solar PV electricity.
Now that the first generation Solar BMS is installed I have a much better idea of the battery capacity (LiFePO4) in fact I had no idea of capacity before installing the Solar BMS is not posible to know based on voltage since discharge curve is so flat on this batteries.

I know some of you may be curios here is the updated Solar BMS is just a 3D render still a few days of Kickstarter then if successful it will become real same as the first generation.
The new version has dual PV input for two separate PV arrays so you can monitor performance of diffident panels or orientations or one input can be used for a small wind turbine but it will need some external electronics since wind turbine can not be left open circuit it will need to be shorted or use a diversion load.
