I guess that I am always suspicious of wondrous claims with no data furnished to back them up. Specifically, I would like to see an energy balance that can demonstrate net energy extraction.

Further, until they can verify their claims with a working model, I will store the claims with my collection of perpetual energy devices, and machines that run on snake oil.

True, had my tongue firmly in my cheek when I posted that. But then, time sorts out the ice sellers. Heaps of Govt money out there to be got at, lot will be wasted but some will prove viable.

Interesting. This concept has been used in desert situations for evaporative cooling for housing. They claim up to 50km/hr. But at what pressure/volume I wonder.....

If you want to find out if you are scared of heights, why not consider a solar updraft tower 1.5 Km is not that high, if you say it quick!
There was plans to build one at Mildura in the 90's
I'm confused, no wait... maybe I'm not...

Concept could be applied to Skyscrappers, tunnel up the centre picking the heat from the road network around it, aiding the A/c.
Have to pass it on to Clive Parmesan Right up his alley.

Their marketing people may want to work on making it look a little less like a nuke tower.

I always wonder who the investorsare in these things.

Anyway thanks for sharing Vic. ~ks
