Why do not small wind generators, work with the same intelligence
as big megawat wind genetrators ?

I have a good and reliable windgenerator at seashore and its producing
all I need.
I have wrote about it here.
My average windsped is very high.
Blades for this windgenerator as to so many others, are made with compromise.
Sound, protection etc..

But?, there is a question.. to produce real energy with much lower winds
inland.

I think the answer could be in this;
-You could use much bigger blade area
-Much better blade efficiency
TO get power from the low winds.

USE some intelligence !

In our time we have computers, tablets and about All
our devices operate in intelligence..

Our windgenerators ?

I have tested myself very efficient blades in wind power.
They were from industrial very BIG fan made from carbon fiber, super-slim.

Very efficient, but the sound when getting (very) high rpm..

After this testing, I know, that you can get power from the wind
with just.. ANY windspeed.
(As they got in the prairies in the Wild West wind generators
already over hundred years ago..)

With the intelligence, to this system you can get power
from any any wind speed.
New ways of protection and over speed, loading the batteries etc etc

Antero.

We can use bigger blades to have more efficiency in low winds.
But we still need a generator that match with it.
I have a 800 watt Piggott gen. with a 3 mtr.diam. propeller.
I found out that a few degrees pitch movement has a big effect on rpm.
To much pitch, run the blades in Stall.
Parking the blades in feathered position is a very good feeling during storm.
With the right settings of the controller it works fine.
And with the software it's possible for fine-tuning.
The software is a few rules and easy to change parameters.
The only problem is making extra mechanical parts ,knowing about electronics and programming the controller .
For people who want to make it I can send the software for Arduino Uno ( C language ) as a free download.

Windmillfriends,

Where do we start thinking about making small windturbines, working with the same intelligence as the big turbines?

Maybe a model of the Enercon E-126

You can order this whith any voltage to be Off grid or On grid.

This is what I really want next.

Blades are much better than in Chinese Wind generators.
Wide and powerful blades to the blade tip up.
Considerably more torque and power, from the wind !

That would not be possible to protect against.. any storms, with this
blade efficiency..
They would be very noisy.. RPM etc

The rudder is exactly aligned with the wind turbine.
That gives MUCH more.. power in all wind conditions, compared to the system
in many "other" wind generators that have storm protection with offset and
furling..

SPECIAL thanks to Midwoud1 !!

He has developed and tested this system and I think, he was the brainstorming
man to begin all this for small wind power and wrote about it !!
