I have 3 oem wind turbines from cindy 2 kw
I was going to make towers 9 m high then I read small wind generation pdf put out by victorian govt which says u get 80 % more power with a 100 ft tower or something like that
I bought black pipe and got it chopped into 3 metre sections
and got plan from engineer - the engineer tested the rotor etc because no paper work from cindy
plan is for 9 metre tower from cindys website
she has an example of a 15 metre
i went for the 9 metre because of utube video where the guy in black track suit. and in the snow puts it up in 2 hours and it seemed easy
there is a guy on ebay .com.au in brisbane selling cindys pipe towers in sections
I think square tube is cheaper
I have to get the black pipe welded and galvanized

galvanizing lasts longer does it than powder coating
i picked up just a turbine no pole 4 kw will make it a square tube pole itis one from beawind hog.com. i got it half price
on site at narre warren no height limit I will have 10 kw of turbine but need to be over 10 to get power station
trying to work out if it pays to get power station license
I have to put turbines on next block
dispute with agl who did not tell sp aus net I was on 0.68 tarriff
and they are going to compensate me but they only want to compensate for hardly any feed in electrcity
I say it is 4088 kw per yr and they will only pay 899 per annum
i used my 5 kw system at home to halve the production
agl want to use the table on clean energy council site which is very much on the low sideEdited by tomqu7 2013-06-08
