Hi,
i set out to make the mini mill battery charger as my first ever wind powered project, but i have come up short. The problem is that reading electrical diagrams is not my strong point - in particular the diagram that shows the wiring coming from the stepper motor.
Could anyone please point in me in the right direction. I need either a laymans explanation of this, or a book that can explain wiring diagrams like this simply. I am mechanically very able, but these diagrams i find difficult.
Thanks Alistair

I found this on the net back when I first started, maybe it will help.
Most stepper motors are 2 phase with a center tap of some sort.
