Hi all
I am new to the site which has been very informative, after finding four old washes at the dump i am about to rewire the 1mm wire motor for the seven phase system, has anybody out there done this and can give me some power outputs before i cut all the wiring, as in my finds apart from the 1mm motor i have the .8 and the .6 and a new model .6 with the lesser amount of magnets so thought the 7 phase would be the go. The new motor though was alloy wiring, pity, I may rewire the whole thing yet i shall se.
regards Jim

Hi Jim,

Firstly , Welcome to the forum.

I would probably hold for a while with attacking the 1mm (100s) as they are getting hard to find , the 80 would be the best all rounder to start with but it all depends on your system voltage to what you are going to do with them . Edited by fillm 2012-02-11

Hi thanks for that
I am actually going to firstly power my bicycle hub motor with it indirectly the hub is 24volt a 250 watt motor, I have already got a 6 to one ratio for the generator on the wheel, power to batteries first of course, so figured at around 20 kph or so I should get around 1300 rpm at the generator, and after i finish with that bit turn it into a wind turbine
