got 2 lg model 10d motors etc that were on a front loader washing machines.they look similar to the f and p in size but without all the plastic that turns to crap fast.when i get some spare time ill give them a spin and see what they can do!!hopefully theyll go on the f and p base test bench ive been making at tafe

I have only dealt with them in working washing machines, not sure about how they will go as generators but they are much higher torque motors than the F&P.

Most common fault with the LG front loaders is the seal fails and lets water into the bearings, I have refurbished quite a few and resold them in the past.

There is also the 10 KG version of the LG frontloaders which has a even bigger motor again, but those machines are fairly rare.

Some of my fooling with LG still a work in progress as I had a fire in the shed and damaged the stator, will get back to it though.
