Heard this on the radio this morning. CSIRO research shows average low wind speeds in Australia are increasing, especially 10 meters above ground. Good news for wind farms, and anyone planning to build their own wind turbine.

"The low winds are increasing faster than the mean winds which means that the turbine can be activated more often than when, you know, winds are not increasing that fast."
