Hi guys. The web site was off air for about 12 hours today. Its back up now, fingers crossed it stays that way. Not sure what the problem was, but I do know the ADSL connection was down at "the other end", not our end. TheBackShed is hosted at the servers where I work, and we also lost the business web sites and mail servers. So if anyone tried to visit today and just got a "Page could not be found" message, sorry about that. I'm still here. Yeah there have been a lot of cutbacks in Telstra to prepare for the T3 sell off. I worked for Telstra ( Telecom back then ) for 7 years, back in the 80's, and I could tell you a few things about the way it all works. I remember how busy we were with repairs and maintenance, there were 30 staff at our local exchange then, now there are 2 staff! They must be only fixing faults and not performing any maintenance.
