Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

If your having problems uploading pictures, it might be because the picture is too large or the wrong type. Modern digital cameras take pictures at very high resolution, and these are not suitable to uploading to the internet. So you need to resize you photo to a smaller size, and make sure its saved as the correct file type. To prepare your pictures for upload, you can use a program called Paint. Paint comes with Windows, and you should be able to find Paint in your start menu under Programs/Accessories. Once you open Paint, go to File,Open to open your picture. Then go to Image,Stretch/Skew. In the Stretch options, try a setting of 20% for both Horizontal and Verticle, then click OK. You may need to try a few Stretch setting, ideally you want your image to be about half the size of your screen. Then go to File,Save As. Give your image a new name, or it will overwrite the old image. Also check that the Save as type option is set to JPEG. The you should be able to upload your picture. If you have any problems, send me an email. Tip. You should also do this for any pictures you want to email, it will make sending the email much faster.
