Just recieved my F&P from randys workshop and the shippers were a little rough with handling it and a hole has been punched through the magnet hub.
Will this cause me problems or can someone help me out with ways to repair. Thanks
Ken

Its not that bad. We have a product in Oz called "Fibre-bog". Its used for car repair, just like normal bog ( body filler ) but stronger and has fibre glass threads mixed in. Or you could make up a patch out of plastic and use some 24 hr epoxy to bond it together. Its got nice feathered edges so the epoxy should take well.

Hope that helps.

missing a hole of plastic isnt gonna stop it from working is it?

I had set this project aside but now reading about the cogless rotor decided to get back at it and make it the 7 phase. I found a place in the US that carries F&P repair parts and have ordered part #420 774P at a good price of $46.oo US. including shipping. I just hope the part # is the same as the one posted here. I will let you know when it arrives if it is the rotor hub.

The new rotor has arrived! I live in Nova scotia and orderd this from the US and this afternoon the delivery truck showed up with it,that was fast, less then a week.
Now to get busy and get it all together and up before the snow starts to fly.
