Thanks, so 270 RPM is as far as it will go? Have you tried a spindle motor VFD?

The highest torque is from 23 to 270 RPM. It can do 3 other speed steps, from 270 to 320, then 320 to 670 & highest is from 670 to 1000 RPM. What I'm saying is the torque drive is reduced above 270 RPM but modifications can be made to over come that limitation if needed.

At this stage only interested in the 92 - 270 RPM range as it can simulate a range 3 - 7 or even up to 8 m/s of wind speeds for small wind turbines up to a diameter of 2.8 m. The peak output power of up to 400+ W allows some good number crunching to be done.

Haven't tried a spindle motor VFD, looks a slick piece of kit.

Will be on the cards as an upgrade, once I get tired of using my home built VFD system made "free of charge" from scrapped washing machine parts
There are realities if you do not accept, will lead to frustration because you will be spending time on wrong assumptions and the results cannot follow! The Dunning Kruger Effect :)
