Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hey, I tried to message you, but either there's something wrong with the system or something wrong with me or both. Message me, please, as I am interested in whatever a "wind multiplier" is and I couldn't find it using your link. Thanks.

it's the term used to describe stationary "fins" that surround a vertical axis machine. the idea being they catch and redirect moving air into a a smaller set of fins that rotate.
i could never see the point because there is usually as much , if not more material in the "wind multiplier" as there is in the actual wind mill.
for me it's easier to just build another wind mill and combine the outputs.

one aspect of these booster fins surrounding the actual windmill, they hide the movement of the wind mill.
thinking along the lines of acceptance in urban settings, if the neighbors can't see anything spinning they have less cause t be alarmed.
