hello , I have come across a black coloured F@P rotor. never seen one of this colour before. Could anyone out there confirm if it,s different to the old grey coloured types. I can,t access it for a couple weeks and want to know it,s specs,if different from the older types.. Did F&P ever bring out a Neo magnet type rotor??. Thanks Bruce. Bushboy |

Hi Bruce These Black rotor caps can only be used on the 36 pole stators not the older versions. They provide a 40% increase in output power for the same RPM as the strength of the magnets is greater. But the minor down side is they have a higher starting force. The white arrow head rotor caps are hard to beat on a decogged 36 pole stator. Hope this info answers you question. Cheers David There are realities if you do not accept, will lead to frustration because you will be spending time on wrong assumptions and the results cannot follow! The Dunning Kruger Effect :) |

Hey Bruce If the black rotor is for the new 36 pole stators, and has stronger magnets, then it would make a great 7 phase conversion on a old 80 or 60 series. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |
