While reading various news items I came across this one. Maybe they heard about MacGyver and his successes.

That sounds positive stuff, good figures for wind in that article. I especially like the bit about the power grid infrastructure upgrades. Sounds like Texas is switched on, wonder what the Texan rural people think about it?

One night Denmark made all its power from wind, however, we are all smart enough to know that in addition we need a base load when "the sun don't shine and the wind don't blow"! It is good to see CO2 emissions are reduced, so we don't slowly cook or get washed away in floods. I hate to think how many Gigatons or Teratons of water vapour end up in the atmosphere for every 0.1 deg. rise in temp.
