Hi guys, Does anyone know where I can purchase a dual 60s setup from? Do you offset the stator poles or is there a special holder that I can purchase where I just bolt two stators onto and they are already offset? Great information on this site... Also, does anyone know where I can get the shaft machined? Thanks, Dale. |

Hi Dale. You might get lucky and someone here may have one for sale. The best way is to build your own and learn along the way. There is a LOT of info on this forum on the F&P, start HERE and scroll down a bit and you will find a ton of info. It is quite interesting and fun to build your own and once she is flying there is a good sense of achievement. For parts don't forget to look after the sponsors...get you parts HERE As for buying the stator and hub...there is always something on evilbay. Good Luck. Foolproof systems do not take into account the ingenuity of fools. |

Bruce could you include a link to your photo album, most people wont know how to find it. I take it you mean the IRC album. Dale try the parts page http://www.thebackshed.com/windmill/kits.asp, Phill, Ian and Trev can supply parts. Phil and Ian may be a little difficult to get hold of at the moment, but still worth a try. Hi Guys, Your replies have been great, very informative. Bruce, I sent you a PM. I couldn't find your album though. Can you send me a link to your photos? I have rewired my stator before so I'm not adverse to doing the work, but I don't have access to lathe's etc to help with machining. Nor do I have the skill. Thanks, Dale. |

Hi, Is the metal piece that is used to twist the stators easy to make? Is there a great deal of force required to twist the stator poles? Regards, Dale. |

Hi Bruce, Really good photos. How did you get the 2 stators so close together? I'm trying to do exactly that. How did you get the stator hub so small? Did you machine your shaft to suit the small stator hub yourself? Its a great view you have there in your photos. Especially liked the group of push bikes photo Thanks, Dale. |

Hello all, Ive got a 80s series stator, and can get another one to build a twin rotor mill. Have looked at all the configurations. WE are in a low to medium wind area, but it can blow. Will need a high power output. Have seen Glens staggered twin stator posts, am also thinking of going the 7 phase twin stator way for higher power and decogging improvement. Can anyone guide me on this? Cheers Ant. |

Antillect, Welcome to the forum. It is best to start your own thread on the topic and not hijack someone else thread. The forun gets messy with hijacked threads and often not everyone reads an existing thread to notice your question. Sometimes it just works |
