Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi William

Will need some more infomation. What voltage do you want to run the system at? If its a grid tie inverter you plan to use, what model?

As a rule, you can expect a watt per rpm for a F&P. So at 200 rpm, you can get 200 watts. This rule can be bent quite a lot, but its a good starting point for a beginner.

William,
You stated that you need to be advised to the set up...
Going with vertical may not be you'r best choice right now. A horizontal mill or mills would be quicker/easier and produce more power for the investment. This may be better for you until you become more versed with the systems and capibilities.
12 volt may not be the optium voltage either, most are changeing over to 48 volt systems...just depends on what you want to use the power for / how you store it / how far away the tower...(towers)...are from the batteries. Most towers need to be above 50 feet, depends on you'r conditions, but clean linear air/wind is much better above 100 feet.
Just my thoughts...
