Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Why is everyone running there F&P's at low voltage?
Every thing should be as simple as possible. Not simpler.

We were just talking about this subject a couple of weeks ago, have a look at this thread http://www.thebackshed.com/windmill/forum1/forum_posts.asp?T ID=400&PN=1
One of the concerns is hight voltage, as in over 500 volts if things go bad. Using high voltage does have its good points, but there would need to be some serious safe guards in place.
