Hi all just rewired a F&P smart drive, and can anyone tell me what can i coat the soldered wires in to stop corrosion? thanks

I would just paint the whole stator with clear outdoor furniture varnish. It soaks into the coils and laminations very well.

I think any outdoor paint would do. The laminations do rust, so should be painted, but not too thick as there isn't much gap between them and the magnets.

Hello I have found the right product to do this job Red Insulating Varnish
GC Electronics PT# 10-9002-A I to spray the whole stator with clear coat as a back up.

If its just the soldered joints you want to coat then a product called "liquid electrical tape" does the trick. Its available from places like Super Cheap or chandlers.
