Hello this is why I made up the Mann Smart Drive by using the Trailer drum with the neomagnets and the tinkem bearings good for 3500 LB you just will need to build a 5 hole plate flange for you blades.
You can wire up your oun stator for what battery setup you use.
I am working with a stock 38 pole stator here is the output for my set up.

Hello I turned down the Stator a little bit and reshaped it back to a hump.
The air gap on the Mann Smart Drive is .025 thousand the brake free torque is 14 inch LB and spin is 5 inch LB.
OHM is 31 stock stator
AC volt no load at 82 RPM is 108 volts testing line A to B
at 165 RPM is 215 volts
at 208 RPM IS 208 volts
at 414 RPM is 535 volts
at 703 RPM is 900 volts All RPM reading are true readings with new meter.

I can sell them for $400 plus shipping to down under for $200
I can wiring up the stator for you if you wish me too.

Bob - TIMKEN are bearing suppliers and 3500lb is not much for a bearing on a trailer hub , a std 6205 Bearing in the F&P housing has a load rating of 14000Kg(30,000lb) Dynamic and 7800Kg(17000lb) static .

.025" or .64mm Thou is the way to Quote the air gap in imperial or metric and 14"lb means nothing without a distance it is taken at from the centre .

31 Ohm seems a very high reading , High volts low amps

Hello the point is the trailer hub will never fail it is way easer to mount too.
the cogging is tested with a old small torque wrench with a pointer type on the center of the hub

If you wish me to re test the motor just lay out how you wish me to do the tests.
So we are all on the same page

Hi Bob Mann
It may be just my very poor eyesight but in one of your pictures with the shaft sticking up from the stator it looks like the shaft is plastic.
As i said it could be just my eyes playing up.

All the best dean.

Fillm, he did write "14 inch LB" meaning 14LB at a distance of one inch. I see nothing wrong with that.
Perhaps you need new glasses

Tinker,

I wrote the second line ,not the Quote, who needs new glasses

And "yes" you are correct if the measurement was made on the bearing retaining nut, but if it was taken on a wheel stud , it means nothing.

A good way to get starting torque is with a string wraped around the drum and a spring gauge which will give starting and rolling torque.
