I cannot believe how many people are ignorant to the problems of wind turbines. They have proven to be inefficient and do create CO2 emissions in their construction and do not generate the power that developers claim. Most people are apathetic and do not study the problems of wind turbines. There are over 400 groups in Europe and many in the USA, Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, Lithuania, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, Japan and gathering strength in Australia along with the British Isles who are totally against wind turbines. Listen hear you ignorant sh*t. How dare you jump onto my wind energy forum and post a link to a anti wind power web site. Piss off. Just adding, I've used google to search for your name associated with wind turbines, and I see dozens of posts by you on other pro and anti wind turbine web sites. Wind Turbine Syndrome! The cows sitting under the turbines at Ravenshoe looked pretty healthy when I was there, and the comments by visitors like "I thought these things were noisy, I cant hear a thing!" seamed to put that argument to rest too. And I'm sure the workers run around every ten minutes collecting up all the dead birds before the visitors see them. Maybe we should go nuclear, I'm sure the Japanese people living near the Fukushima reactor are worried about the ill effects of wind turbines too! The guys here are smart enough to see thought the hype, they have hands on experience. Some of them even depend on wind energy for their power needs. Sure, have your opinion, but dont post it here. I dont believe in a god, but I dont go into church every Sunday and tell the congregation they are all wrong! I have respect for others beliefs and points of view, maybe you should try that. This is our church. Glenn The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, the second best time is right now. JAQ |
