i bought this item because i thought it would be a charge controller and inverter in one but its just the charge controller :p
by the sounds of it, it would just let the windmill freewheel when the battery is full, so im trying to think of a way to have it working without too much losses from a dump load controller :S
it can only handle 30 amps at 48v so im pretty disappointed.
the way its described made me think it came with a 1600watt inverter with the charge controller.
but im not gonna let it go to waste so its time to get crackin

30A at 48V is a fair chunk more than a dual F&P will ever do, so you'll probably find it adequate for a couple of projects in a battery charging situation that would be more like 30A at 58V =1740W -pretty much a 2KW+ mill.

this is a fair controller depending on how much you paid for it of course.

loose the space and you'll get it up Bob

try this http://www.raumenergy.com/battery_charger.html
