Is anyone familiar with this winpower system? The website is in Denmark @ http://www.windmission.dk/ The gentlemans name is Claus Nybroe. In the link below he has a PDF illustation of his PMG (permanent magnatized motor) linked by means of a transmission shaft system to the rotors. The PMGs are offered for sale. Since I don't really have a clue at present what is good efficient motor and system in comparison to say the F&P or homemade motors,I thought someone might take a gander at it and comment. http://www.windmission.dk/workshop/BonusTurbine.pdf Cliff RENMAN |

Hi Cliff I edited you post for you, the link to the pdf wasn't working, hope you dont mind. His generators look like modified induction motors, where the armature is turned down and fitted with magnets. The performance graph also matches the performance of these conversion. They do tend to drop off in efficiency above 300 - 500 rpm, where a F&P starts to drop off after 1000 rpm. There is nothing wrong with induction motor conversions, easy to do and they work well.
