Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

There is a bug with emails through the forum and it has been there for a long time, Glenn is unable to fix it and it only effects some people. I have Bryan1 personal email address but will not pass it on, But should you want to PM me a message for Bryan1 than i will forward an email to him for you, and its up to him if he replys to you. Please include your email address in the message to Bryan1 so he can contact you. Pete. Sometimes it just works |

The email from forum thingy has always been a pain. In the past I've spend hours trying to sort it out. All I can say is the problem isn't the forum software, its working fine. The problem is out on the internet, where some mail servers or email clients think emails sent from software, like this forum, are spam. There isn't anything I can do, its not at my end. I have just had another go at email from the forum. instead of using the email button on the forum home page, I went to the member list and emailed to another member and sent a copy to myself. Here is the email that got to me. I have not checked yet, but I assume the email would have got to the intended recipient as well. I presume that users having problems with email, were like my initial tests, with the email button on the main forum page. The post that was deleted earlier, included a message from the forum that resulted from an ettempt to email using the button on the main forum page. Conclusion ::: Email works for me. Hi guys Unless you put the back shed in your buddy list, E-mails will go to the junk pile. Check the junk pile there could be some good stuff there. I once built a wind mill from junk. Ron THE Pirate. stealing wind & solar energy is fun |
