Hello, I much appreciate if you could help me clarify Ed Lenz wing dimmensions. According to his published information -see attached picture- - Wing Width (¿Diameter or Radii?) = Turbine Diameter x 0,1875 - Wing Chord = Turbine Diameter x 0,4 Ed Lenz shows ¿R (Radii)? = 3.38 for a 3 ft Turbine Diameter as an example in the same document. See second image. If Wing Width = 0,1875 x Turbine Diameter, then 3 ft x 12 inches/ft x 0,1875 = 6,75 inches (3,38 x 2) which seems diameter nor radii... Please: - Are that formulae adimensional? In inches? - Any formulae in metrics? - Is the Wing Width the wing diameter or the wing radii? Thanks, |

His measurements are in inches Lenz2 turbine This picture (from that site) might help you visualise it better ETA HERES a inch to metric converter just select 'decimal inches' from the tabs up the top, to mm and plug in his inches numbers eg 0.50 inches (the size of the three slots) is 12.7mm |

Thanks Boppa. Is the Wing Width the wing diameter or the wing radius? |
