Plasma sent me a PM reporting a bug in the IR decoder in the Micromite. It seems that when you have sent an IR keypress to the Micromite it will then respond to keypresses on other non Sony remotes by repeating the last Sony keypress received. This is a serious bug and I hope that I have fixed it in beta 16 which is attached. I don't have plasma's email so if you are reading this plasma would you please download this version and advise if it fixes the issue for you. 2014-03-24_011249_Micromite_V4.5B16_28-pin.zip This is the only change between beta 15 and 16 so it is not important for most beta testers but if you wish to download and install it please feel free. If you can also test it with your remote control collection I would be very grateful. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

I have built a frequency generator project using the IR sensor as the keypad on the 28 pin uMite and never ran into that problem. Maybe it depends on which other remote format is used when the problem shows up. That project has been put up for the last week while I was building PC boards, I will get it back out Tuesday and check it out. Lou Edit: I hit post by mistake instead of preview and the whole thing went wide screen on me. What happened, did I break something?? Microcontrollers - the other white meat |

Here is the 44-pin version of beta 16 for anyone who would like to give it a go. The only difference between this and beta 15 is the fix for the IR decoder. 2014-03-26_001921_Micromite_V4.5B16_44-pin.zip Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |
