Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

If you have lines with multiple commands such as: Print "Hello":Print "World" First command is colour-syntaxed and printed, but commands after the first : are not capitalized and remain black and white. The printout reflects the display. NOT a criticism, just a comment. MMEdit2 version 0.9.1 Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

If you have a space after the colon, all is well I have made a change to the next beta which doesn't need the space but I am not sure if there are any unforeseen side-effects. Please keep the comments coming, that is what beta releases are for. I should have a uMite running soon and then I can do a few changes to MMedit to suit. Jim VK7JH MMedit MMBasic Help |

You are absolutely correct. If I put a space after the colon, the syntax changes to what it should be colour-wise and is auto-capatalized. I have a lot of multi-command lines though, so I ain't adding all those spaces in. The current stable version of MMedit I am using, which is 3.3.7(full editor, but no colour printing) does not care about no space after the colon - the example in my first post is correctly formatted and coloured. Does not bother me - was just mentioning it. Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

Just goes to show that all is not always "black and white" David M. |
