Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

MM-edit is great for colour syntax, etc, but is there any way to make the code printout in colour?

It is always in black and white at the moment.

No colour at the moment and it is not very likely.
Printing in colour from the edit window is not very easy unfortunately.

Jim

I might be able to do colour in the new version (which is still a long way off)
I am changing programming languages so it's a start from scratch process.

Thanks guys. I never thought of printing to the PDF printer(which is installed), so I will do that - good idea, Pete.

Print to PDF will not help in this case.
Currently, in MMedit you are printing the text file rather than the screen with the pretty colours.

Still worth a try with the PDF i would think, although Jim seems to know more and i have not tested it, but it works for PE and any other program that uses coloured syntax, so if i was you i would give it a try anyway.

Jim was right.
Print to PDF works fine as far as the process goes, but the PDF file is just plain black-and-white.

No matter - there are more important things in the world then MMedit printing in colour!

An image capture and subsequent print of the image will give you a colour print of what is on the screen. There are numerous tools available to do screen captures. If you have one of the more recent Windoze then they have a tool called "Snipping Tool". Earlier Windoze (XP) have to resort to third party tools. SnagIt is one that comes to mind. Not sure if it is still available. Some the later versions of Microsoft Office also include a screen capture tool. If you have MSO it can be used for assembling multiple screen captures into a document for a better looking printout.
