Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi ztoti,
What are you using it for/developing - or are you just testing?

ztoti:
NICE! The menu and display screens are no small feat in themselves. Wondering how you are talking to the steppers. Is the MM sending step and direction and keeping count locally? Or are you using a higher level driver/translator and sending position and speed commands from MM?
From the sound and speed of the motors in the video the pulses are faster than what I would imagine MM could do in a loop (unless you are using hardware PWM?); but I see a real time position feedback on the graphed pattern run which looks local? Very tricky!
Have you tried coordinated motion with you setup?
How many lines are you running on MMbasic?
Nice project! Frank

Hello,
This project is for medicine - it's use to testing on small animal, fixed on the "bed" (animal is a live don't worry :).
I'm using a step motor with driver and controller on it - intelegent one. All step motors are connected through RS485 to Duinomite (with Maximite Basic4.x) and I do communication with one serial port to all motors.
Thank you for watching.
