Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Well, this is not so much a "Help me!" thread, as much as a "Thank you!" thread.

There have been many posts, on many subjects, and Geoff has replied to some of them when he has had the time.

Well, I want to post this thread here because the simple fact of the matter is that without Geoff, we would ALL not be here as MM fans. Granted - the Backyard Forums cover other things too, but for the purposes of this thread, we'll concentrate on MM.

So, THANK YOU GEOFF, for taking the time to:

1) Create the MM that we all love
2) Create the MMBASIC language, which is in and of itself an amazing acomlishment
3) Post here, when you probably have so many other things to do.

So that's it - nothing more, nothing less - just a "Thank You" thread for Geoff, and in some way, hoping to express that without him - none of us MM users would be here at all, so...

You're fairly new to TBS Graeme so I guess unless you've followed back through the posts a long way you probably haven't seen the many times Geoff has been thanked. I'd say he's well aware by now that he's appreciated. Mind you, I don't think "love" has been one of the words used!

Yes!
Without Geoff, the Maximite would not exist.
All the clones and other boards supported by the AMAZING MMbasic would be without a Great piece of Software.

Ahh - fair enough.
I figured there must have been other posts, but I just wanted to add one of my own.

And love is just a play on words, as I am sure you all know.

Let's not forget that behind Geoff is possibly a devoted partner who supports his activities. I remembered being amused when he was even responding to posts including a version upgrade while he was off caravanning up north last winter.
