Has anyone thought of creating a Maximite based ECG?

Does anyone have a good link to such a project that could be adapted to the Maximite?

The Maximite seems like an ideal base for such a project and with the Colour Maximite, will be possible to display detailed colour graphs.

Hallo Nick,

there is a very interesting circuit on "http://formica.nusseis.de/EKG/index.html" but this site is in German...
This circuit sends the measurement readings galvanically isolated over 9600 Baud (8N1)!

Ti has a very interesting document about instrumentation amplifiers:

Looks like a very good page Frank. Unfortunately, my grasp of German doesn't extend far beyond words like "BMW", "Mercedes" and "Aldi".

What I'm looking for is a simple circuit for body probes/sensors to connect to the Maximite.

I found this one...

If people need to look at non English web sites then one way of doing it is to install the Google Chrome browser. It has built in language translation capability. It will translate from many languages to your preferred language. So if you were a German speaker and wanted to look at a Chinese web site it can do that for you too. Read more about it here. I don't have it installed at the moment but I am considering it just for the translation capability. I usually use IE9 and IE10.

Not wanting to sidetrack the original post.... but...

I've heard/read Google Chrome has lots of track gadgets...
I use Firefox with 'NoScript' and can't find a page translator!

...when I want to translate a site, I mark one or two sentences in the text and search for this text in "" at Google. (In Example: "Dies ist ein EKG-Gerät zum Anschluß an die serielle Schnittstelle.")
Google found normally the site and has the option of translation...

@ Nick:
The circuit on your site is simple but you need a galvanically isolation! It's dangerous to use it with a direct connection or a wall power supply!
You can power the Maximite with battery but the connection to a VGA-Monitor which isn't battery operated is not allowed!
