Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I'm sure this has been dealt with, but (and I have looked in the forum)....

If a MM or a MiniMM is set to output composite video, which is 50 characters and 16 lines, does the full screen editor then not work either over USB on a PC or (obviously becuse the editor assumes 80x36) on the composite video screen?

Similarly, when connected to a VGA monitor, which isn't quite the 80x36 required by the full screen editor via Terra Term on a PC, does the full screen editor also not work?

I should have said I'm using MMBasic 3.1, and am referring to the editor invoked by the "edit" command.

Hmmm......

I'll have a look around at Terra Term settings and so on, and see if I can work out where I'm going wrong.

Thanks

Just wondering, is hyperterm ok for serial comms with MM?
It seems ok for slow speed stuff with other programs, I have found it even works on a usb drive : you put the (XP) files hticons.dll, htrn_jis.dll, hypertrm.dll and hypertrm.exe in a separate folder, and the exe works fine (Windows 7). The saved connections can be used from the menu but the screen shortcuts only work after a registry hack (it's on web). I have only used is 9600/8/N/1 so far, it is fine even transfering files on the the same usb drive, I would guess faster speeds may have usb contention problems.

I just didn't recognize what I was seeing and it's working exactly as it should and as described in the manual (doh!)
