Re MM basic. Yes I wasn't in edit mode, but now I have another problem. When using MMIDE and connected to MM when I type 'EDIT' it simply stops responding and I have to terminate. I tried using Terra Term and EDIT seems to work OK until I try to paste my program, the window with the clipboard appears but when I click OK only four random lines of program appear. If I paste a program with line nos. while not in edit mode it works fine. I was having a great time with the MM until now, hope I can overcome these problems. Sorry to be such a nuisance. Paul. Hi Palcal I may be wrong, are you using the latest ver3 of MM Basic if so it should come up with an on screen editor when you type EDIT. If you are using MMIDE you would edit the program in the MMIDE Basic window and then copy it to the Maximite to run. Another thought are you using the MM in vga mode or composite as there is a problem with edit in composite. Hope this is of some help. Cliff Cliff |

Thanks. I went back to using a monitor and keyboard. I transferred the file to the SD card on my laptop. Everything works fine, just can't do it using Tera Term. Will try MMIDE again later. Many Thanks to all who have helped. Paul. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

MMBasic 3.0 firmware was released and MMIDE has yet to fully support the edit mode. Not the fault of MMBasic 3.0. I have to update MMIDE to support the edit mode. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

To paste code into the EDIT window, you need to have big delays between lines. I have used TeraTerm with a character delay of 1mses/char and a line delay of 300mses/line. Slow but sure.... The full screen editor has a lot to do. Jim. VK7JH MMedit MMBasic Help |
