Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Can someone run me through how to load a program into the memory using XMODEM. The instructions in SC are a bit vague. My device is working OK as I get the greeting message but have tried using XMODEM RECEIVE ans SEND to no avail. I am using TERA TERM.

You could try to use MMIDE. You just click buttons to do it.

MMIDE

MMIDE is easy to use with the mini.

Otherwise as I understand it you have a limited time from typing "XMODEM RECEIVE file.ext" until you get TeraTerm to send.

What version of MM Basic do you have?
XMODEM is a new addition.

XMODEM copies files too and from the file system, not program memory.
Apart from needing to be quick to start, Tera Term works OK.

It is much easier to use MMIDE or MMedit. Both applications handle the file transfer without too much pain.
Try them both.
