Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi and thanks for having me aboard. Having an interest in in various development boards and vintage computers, I recently came across the DM-Mega and snapped one up straight away. I'm really a novice at this sort of thing but, although I'm finding it fairly impenetrable, my interest in it keeps me ploughing at it. Since documentation for the DM-Mega is sparse, I was wondering if anyone knows here I could download programming examples? The Olimex site hints that there is software available, Z80 emulator, a space invaders game e.t.c. but when you follow the links they turn out to be screenshots and nothing really useable. Can anyone point me in the direction of useable code/ *.bas files please? Thanks in advance and kind regards, Paul |

MaxiMite and DuinoMite uses the same MMBasic so you could use the MMBasic Lib. examples. Note: The only difference between the two boards is the non/multiplex and multiplex GPIO along with some minor other differences. But sure to download the Olimex user manual! Hi snowwy, In order to help you learn install the help file system I designed then modify the autorun bas. file so you can then just hit F1 to invoke the help file. I'll go and bump the thread where you can download the 'help' folder off Don's link and I'm sure you will like the addition. Regards Bryan |

Gday Paul, The Olimex site has a heap of information about the DuinoMite including an over 200page manual, It was posted on the site on the 15th dec (2days before this post) I English corrected Tsvetn's Bulgarian English for him so it took a couple of weeks to get this, what is essentially, the first public release of the manual, The beta one was posted about 2 weeks earlier but was in Bulgarian-English (not as bad as Chinese-English though) The current Manual can be found here: Manual But the best way is to go to the Olimex Home page and navigate to the DuinoMite area. Olimex.com ----> Development Boards ------ Duino Regards, Mick Mick's uMite Stuff can be found >>> HERE (Kindly hosted by Dontronics) <<< |

The doc isn't really all that sparse. Maybe you didn't look and find it all? Go to the Olimex site and navigate to the various Duino boards. John |
