Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi
Just checking functions on my duinomite .
when I plug in a set head phones or a amp I can not get output. ( 3.5mm plug)
I see there is a divider and have seen some reference this is to be removed.
I don't really need sound but have searched for info and found nothing other than the command. Can someone point me to the right info.

Hi Herb,

download and install the new firmware.. The factory install did have a bug that stopped the sound output working... the new one works.
I plugged in a sandard PC powered speaker set and output was great.

On the subject of sound... Aldi sell a small USB rechargeable speaker for about $9.00 which works a treat as a small cheap amp. I guess you could build your own for less, but not with a rechargeable Li-Ion battery. They are called Bugz or similar.

Thanks Herb,

Have already updated all of my product pages with this information. See near the top of:
http://www.dontronics-shop.com/olimex-duinomite-mega.html

All three product pages are updated, and as Ken and Tsvetan read this forum, I am sure they will be able to follow through.

This is what I have added:

No Com4?
No Sound?
No Setup Menu?
Then you possibly have the factory default firmware.
It takes a few minutes to run the firmware upgrade program,
and get right up to date with the latest release.

Look for the version number at the top of the Setup Menu.
See the Setup menu picture below.

And also reported in my bug list at:
http://www.themaximitecomputer.com/duinomite-current-firmwar e-bugs/
